Your submitted image must be 1024x768 landscape or 768x1024 portrait - though we will need a higher resolution image should you win.

  1. Drop-in events at Victoria Gallery & Museum, Liverpool

    29th July

    Saturday 22 October, drop in between 1 & 4pm Create your own Victorian cabinet of curiosities and some creatures to go inside!

    Saturday 29 October, drop in between 1 & 4pm and get up close to some live owls this Halloween then make your own spooky creature to take home!

  2. Curiosities 2011 at Tullie House

    22nd July

    October 22: Special Saturday - Join Jana Mulholland of MyChoga for children’s yoga and storytelling sessions on a woodland theme. Take part in The Tale of the Woodcutter and discover which animals and birds make their homes amongst the trees.

    Oct 23: Celebra-tree Sunday - Be among the first to visit our brand new In Search of Nature exhibition and create a forest picture with help from Tullie staff.

  3. Summer events at Smithills Hall, Bolton

    22nd July

    * Bug Hunt 5th August – 1pm to 2pm and 2.30 to 3.30. Our keen entomologist will take families around the grounds to see what insects live in the woods and grassland.
    * Worm whispering 19th August - 1pm to 2pm and 2.30 to 3.30. If you want to contribute to research and like getting your hands dirty, this is for you.
    * Bat Hunts 25th and 26th August. We’ll try to discover what species of bat live in and around the hall.
